The Lighthouse
The room they need. From wherever they are.
Our newest initiative:
Lighthouse Connect
Connection doesn't always require a shared room. Sometimes it simply requires shared understanding. Lighthouse Connect is our new online community space, designed to bring belonging, support, accountability, and companionship to neurodiverse children, teens, young adults, and families—wherever they are.

Parents,
Imagine knowing that your child logs into a supportive learning environment each day where someone is helping them plan, prioritise, get started, stay on track, and make progress.
No more spending your workday chasing assignments, checking portals, negotiating task completion, or carrying the full responsibility for your child’s learning.
How it works
Lighthouse Connect provides a live, supported, therapeutic online learning environment for students with a range of neurotypes who are completing online schooling, homeschooling, GED programmes, Cambridge studies, or other alternative education pathways.
Students log into a shared Zoom classroom each day, where they are supported by a dedicated teacher and occupational therapist. Together, the team helps students plan their day, organise assignments, manage deadlines, develop executive functioning skills, and make steady academic progress.
Throughout the day, students work on their own curriculum while remaining connected to a community of peers who are learning alongside them. This creates a powerful body-doubling environment, helping students overcome procrastination, task initiation difficulties, and feelings of isolation.
Regular occupational therapy groups, social opportunities, and executive functioning support are woven into the week, ensuring that students are not only progressing academically, but also developing the confidence, independence, life skills, and self-understanding needed for long-term success.
In short, Lighthouse Online combines education, body doubling, executive functioning support, accountability, and community—allowing students to learn independently, without having to do it alone.
